# BellKnox > BellKnox is an augmented-reality and virtual-reality life-simulation game in development. Three neighbors live in three different houses in VR and never meet each other until later in the game; at first, each neighbor knows only the player, who visits their homes and keeps all three lives on track while time races. In some games one of the three characters is secretly played by a real, background-checked actor who comes to the player's home in a digital costume; the game never reveals which one. BellKnox is planned for a future Tamagotchi-style pocket puck and clip-on monocle physical device called the Mono, plus a phone app, launching city by city with a 2041 target. Adults 18+ only. Status: concept in development. All features, prices and dates are planned and may change. Also described as: AR life sim game, AI life simulator, AI NPC game, augmented reality game, mixed reality game, interactive drama game, a life simulation game like The Sims where one character might be a real actor. Tagline: "Three houses. One of you. Make it work." Hook: "One of them might be real. You'll never know which." Also written as Bell Knox. ## Key facts - Name: BellKnox (website: https://bellknox.com) - Genre: augmented-reality life sim with AI characters (AI NPCs), interactive drama, single player - Compared with The Sims: also a life simulation, but the characters appear in your real room through AR, talk back through AI, and one might be a real person - Audience: adults 18+; inside the game every player verifies ID and age - Device: the Mono, a future Tamagotchi-style physical pocket puck with a clip-on AR monocle lens and a snap-on VR visor - Phone app: same game and account, no Mono needed - Live actor: appears in some games at random - Safety: ID and age checks, signed in-home waiver before any actor enters, background-checked actors, panic button for both sides, optional calendar alerts ("real-life guard") - Launch: city by city, because actors travel to players' homes like a ride-share; 2041 target - Endings: keep secrets, be upfront, or bring all three together (the top-scoring ending); the game ends when their worlds collide, and the real one rates the player anonymously - Contact: the waitlist form on https://bellknox.com/#waitlist ## Pages - [Home](https://bellknox.com/): what BellKnox is, how it plays, the hidden-human twist, the Mono device, safety, roadmap, FAQ and waitlist - [Disclaimer & preferences](https://bellknox.com/disclaimer): concept disclaimer, privacy note (waitlist data and Google Analytics), unsubscribe, motion and analytics choices ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://bellknox.com/sitemap.xml)
